Matara UK Ltd was established in 1995 and started actively trading in May 1996.

Matara UK Ltd have been actively trading since 1996 and during that time have successfully  sold  products to more than 20 different countries.

Matara was formed with the prime objective of offering UK Machine Builders, Resellers and End users  cost effective, yet technically superior automation products. Matara have exclusive UK Partnerships  with PMI,  Mindman and TBI and together we  are all  dedicated to deliver first-class technical solutions to all of our customers throughout  all sectors of Industry.

PMI  are one of the largest manufacturers of Ballscrews and Linear Rail Systems in The World and supply more than 30% of the Japanese machine tool industry and more than 50% of the Taiwanese Machine Tool / Semi Conductor  Industry with Precision Ground PMI Ballscrews and Linear Guides.

Mindman are the largest independent Pneumatic Component Manufacturer in Taiwan and export their goods Worldwide.

Many of Mindman's Pneumatic products interchange with other well known Japanese Pneumatics Companies Products. Mindman  also supply customised pneumatic parts for many other European and Asian Pneumatic Manufacturing Companies.

By combining the cost effective production facilities of our partners with our own fully equipped CNC Machine Shop and Clean Room assembly facilities, Matara can offer consistently high quality products   with rapid deliveries.

During the last five years Matara have enabled many machine builders to reduce their supplier base by incorporating Matara's Pneumatic and Linear Automation products on one order.

Matara have also helped keep the production lines of many household names running throughout the day and night. Our service philosophy is simple - if we have it on our shelf or can manufacture it, our customer can have it.
Matara can currently manufacture Rodless Cylinders and Belt Actuators up to a  6 Metre's stroke, PMI Ballscrews fully machined up to 5 Metres in Length and VDMA cylinders up to 200mm Ø Bore on  the same day that they are ordered.
