Description

This VDMA pneumatic cylinder, manufactured in the UK by Matara, is also called a pneumatic ram and comes as a double-acting unit by default. Part of the MCQI3 series complies with ISO standards 15552. It is available in both double-acting and single-acting versions, with a rod diameter of 40mm and a stroke length from 1-2800mm, suitable for a wide variety of uses. Custom stroke lengths can also be requested. The piston can move at speeds of 50-500mm/s and operates within a pressure range of 0.5-10 bars. The piston rod has threading at the end and features a magnetic strip, along with a grooved body, allowing for easy sensor mounting to detect rod positioning. With an aluminium housing and an NBR seal, the cylinder is durable and operational within a temperature range of -5 to 60°C.
