What Is Pneumatics?
Pneumatics refers to the process of using compressed air to power mechanical systems. It has a variety of helpful applications, with pneumatic automation being used to power everyday tools, manufacturing and construction equipment, and robotics.
How Does Pneumatics Work?
Pneumatics utilises an air compressor to power mechanical processes. By drawing air in, compressing it, and then distributing it through tubing, pneumatics powers actuators such as cylinders and motors. Pneumatic valves are used to control this air distribution, allowing for deliberate movement of pistons and other pneumatic automation components.
